In the business world, my greatest passion is with small business and entrepreneurs. 

According to a study done by BRIDG, entrepreneurs often have difficulty controlling their time, setting goals, and measuring performance. I can relate to all three of these things and recognize that they are the easiest thing to let slip. 

Our businesses are our babies and thus we are emotionally attached to them.  This attachment often begs us into believing that we should do everything ourselves. 

Or, business is coming in at a rate that we just cannot keep up with it and our office work.  So, the finer and often crucially important points of managing our business fall by the wayside.  For me it is marketing.  I have to stay on top of making sure that I am letting people know that I am available or my pipeline of potential customers dwindles.  One third of all small businesses fall into this trap.

The difference between me an you is that I have mastered my organization and productivity to a degree that allows me to over come this.  You can do it to.

Finding and keeping a balance is much more likely if you have sound organizational systems in your space and you have strong habits of organization.

Garage BeforeGarage AfterDen BeforeDen After: Lots of paper to sort through: 6 hours w/customerSmall Home Office Before & After: Project 4 hours on my own.  The cabinets on the left are full of gifts.  They will be moved to another location once other parts of the home are organized, thus freeing space to house the items that remain on top of them cabinets. Playroom After: In the absence of order one cannot manage teaching a child how to take care of their things.  This is a new playroom for a 3 1/2 year old (no before pic).  I have been back on several occasions and she has learned to pick-up when she is finished playing.  And is very proud In Process (1 of 3):  This was one of my first hoarding clients after 8 months of working two times weekly.  When we started there was no floor or surface space visible.  One room it was impossible to open the door and we had to dig our way in.    In Process (2 of3):  The livingroom is complete.  The joy was overly abundant on this amazing day.  I was so blessed to have been part of this transformation.  It had been in a condition where 80% of the furniture couldn't be seen.  In Fact, you could not walk through the room. In Process (3 of 3):  This house is ready for company.
My Spice Cabinet:  I just started cooking again.  A few more spices and I will need a stacker to put them on.  Cooking can be such fun and creativity can flow in an organized kitchen.  If you can read every label and access a spice without disturbing other items then you are in good shape!My Office: updated picture coming soon.

Moved the white chair over by the window to open up the room and moved the functional tables where the items she uses are in the corner less visible.  Also, organized those tables-Everything has a home.
